Sherwin Williams Website Design Refresh (Pitch)

This project was a design refresh pitch that I put together recommending updates to the Sherwin Williams Color of the Year 2022 landing page with the goal to bring more life and vibrance into the design. I felt that the video that Sherwin created for the Color of Year was very compelling - visually stunning and evocative. I wanted to bring some of the essence of the video into the landing page.

A few details included in my redesign:
– Nature imagery, bringing nature in, sun rays = emotive of hope
– Tactile imagery to give dimension and help break that digital 4th wall, sense of real life - glossy paint drop, textured background
– Buttons style - more defined outline, rounded edges, crisp drop shadow
– Copy updates throughout, for example: “Pairs With” > “Color Harmony” + adding subheader “This nature-inspired palette of coordinating hues creates a modern, organic feel when paired with Evergreen Fog.”
– Realized color swatches in this section were clickable, added CTA “+ Order Samples” to each swatch to prompt the user to click
– In the influencers section, I wanted to make the influencers themselves more distinctive and give this section more personality, so I brought in a photo of each influencer and their logo to accompany the featured interior home image for each along with their brand name. Also updated the headline from “Get Inspired by Influencers” > “Influencer Inspiration” paired with the subheader “See how some of our favorite influencers are using Evergreen Fog.”
– Designed the Emerald Paint “Shop Now” section to feel more like an ad, attention grabbing, and making the product stand out more and increase desirability

Deliverables on this project include mockups for both desktop and mobile view, and two accompanying digital banner ads.
